Brew with a View
Earl Smith Strand Theatre

The sun shines longer nowadays, so all the more reason to sit up on The Strand's 4th floor terrace and enjoy a 'Brew with a View'! The Strand's popular spring and summer feature is back, with cold drinks and stunning views of the square and Kennesaw mountain. Live music featured on select weekends! Brew starts at 7 pm and continues till late! Full bar - no entry fee. 21+. The Brew With A View series is sponsored by Red Hare and features a variety of Red Hare beers on tap. More information


Liquid Brunch: Sundays on the Strand Terrace
Earl Smith Strand Theatre
12:30pm - 4pm

Grab a bottomless mimosa or Bloody Mary, a few friends, and sit back and enjoy the sunshine on the terrace or the shade underneath an umbrella and relax! Liquid Brunch runs every Sunday from 12:30pm-4pm and features live music. No cover charge. 21+ only. More information

7pm - 11pm

As you sink into a plush couch or join a friend at a café table, the modern world seems to drift away as classic silent films quietly flicker in the background while a live pianist plays. The Lumière Lounge's much-lauded specialty cocktail menu, featuring sips made with local Hometown Honey, and live pianist create a perfectly intimate setting for a date night cocktail. Lumière is held on the second floor lounge Friday and Saturday nights from 7-11pm. 21+. More information

Avery Gallery

Avery Gallery exhibits and sells original works of art by some of the best artists from the Atlanta area, the nation and the world. Oil paintings, bronze sculpture, photographs, enamel on copper, etchings and other graphics, watercolors, pottery, and acrylics. Subject matter includes impressionist landscapes, classic nude images, western horse and rider, florals, wildlife and much more.


dk Gallery

Located on the historic Marietta Square, dk Gallery is the newest addition to metro Atlanta’s thriving art scene. dk Gallery represents emerging and established contemporary painters and sculptors of the South who have demonstrated advanced mastery of their media. The stylistically diverse collection includes landscapes, abstracts and figures. Each inheritable piece captures the imagination with its emotive qualities, providing a gratifying experience for every collector.


Historic Marietta Trolley Tours

All aboard Marietta’s only trolley tour! Join us for a one-hour, fully-narrated exploration of our historic city. Experience Marietta’s rich heritage, from the vibrant Downtown Square, past grand Antebellum homes, to the battlefields at Kennesaw Mountain.


Marietta Museum of History

Located on the second floor of the historic Kennesaw House, the Marietta Museum of History houses the city’s extensive historical collections of photographs, artifacts and documentary information of Marietta in particular, and North Georgia in general.


Marietta/ Cobb Museum of Art

The Marietta/ Cobb Museum of Art is the only metropolitan Atlanta fine arts museum focusing on 19th and 20th Century American art. It hosts national touring exhibitions, and offers lectures, workshops, classes, and art festivals. Other social and cultural opportunities are also offered.


Marietta Fire Museum

The Marietta Fire Museum provides a unique look at firefighting techniques and equipment from as far back as the late 1800s. The highlight of the museum is the “Aurora,” a steam-powered fire engine purchased by the city of Marietta in 1879. Also on view are pumper trucks from the 1920s, a 1949 ladder truck, and an extensive variety of firefighting paraphernalia.


The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum: Scarlett on the Square

The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum: Scarlett on the Square was established in April of 2003 and currently houses Dr. Christopher Sullivan's privately owned collection of GWTW book and movie memorabilia. In recent years, Sullivan's collection was displayed at Kent State University, the Self - Family Arts Center in Hilton Head, South Carolina and at MGM Studios in Walt Disney World. The collection features an impressive compilation of artifacts related to the novel and film including foreign film posters, rare press and publicity books, premiere programs, conceptual artworks, costume pieces, contracts, advertisements, promotional items and collectibles.


William Root House

The Root House, one of the oldest surviving frame houses in Marietta, offers visitors an opportunity to experience how a middle-class merchant and his family lived in the 1850s.
