Art Walk is a free self-guided tour of the Marietta Square’s eclectic art scene. Galleries, museums, cultural venues, restaurants and boutiques host artists within their businesses from 5pm to 9pm on the first Friday of every month, rain or shine. Look for an official Art Walk banner in the window to identify the participating venues.

The Motown Sound

For two weekends this July, The Strand brings Motown back to Marietta for the third year of the most successful Strand produced show ever. Featuring songs by artists like Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Jackson 5, and The Supremes, The Motown Sound will be a journey through the Motown greats highlighted by stunning dance, brilliant costumes, and knockout vocals. This year will bring new songs, new performers, and new choreography along with that classic Motown sound.

Folk Art Visionaries
Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art
This exhibition includes over 60 works by more than 30 regional folk artists. The works range from the early face jugs of Georgia's own Lanier Meaders to inspired gospel works by the late Howard Finster. MCMA has selected these works from many private collections and fine art galleries. This is the first time these pieces have been exhibited together.
